Welcome to BussGuru. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and BussGuru ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our bus booking platform.
Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.
1. Scope of Services
BussGuru operates as a technology platform that aggregates bus options from various third-party bus operators. It is important to understand that:
- We are an aggregator: We connect travellers with bus operators. We do not own or operate any buses ourselves.
- Service Quality: The bus operator is solely responsible for the quality of service, including punctuality, amenities, and staff behavior.
- Ticket Issuance: Our responsibility is limited to issuing a valid ticket for its network of bus operators.
2. User Obligations
Users of the BussGuru platform are expected to adhere to the following obligations to ensure a smooth travel experience:
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and all passengers as prompted by the booking forms.
- Valid ID Proof: Passengers must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or PAN Card) while traveling.
- Boarding Time: Passengers must arrive at the designated boarding point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. The bus operator is not obligated to wait for late passengers.
- Conduct: Passengers are expected to maintain proper conduct. The operator reserves the right to deny boarding to anyone under the influence of alcohol or behaving in minacious manner.
3. Booking & Payment
We strive to ensure that transaction security and booking integrity are maintained at all times.
- Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only when the payment is successfully processed, and you receive an m-ticket via SMS or Email.
- Payment Gateway: Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. BussGuru does not store your complete credit/debit card information.
- Transaction Fees: Applicable convenience fees and taxes are charged over and above the ticket price and are non-refundable in case of cancellation.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Each bus operator has its own cancellation policy. When you cancel a ticket, the refund amount is calculated based on the operator's policy linked to that specific schedule.

Refund Timeline: Eligible refunds are automatically initiated to the source account within 5-7 business days.
5. Limitation of Liability
BussGuru's liability is limited to the amount of the ticket fare. Under no circumstances shall BussGuru be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the services.
We are not liable for:
- Bus departures being delayed or advanced.
- The bus operator changing the vehicle type or seat allocation.
- Loss of baggage or personal belongings.
- Any medical emergency or accident during the journey.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
